Scott Hudson

Insurance Brokers & Investment Platforms

Scott has fifteen years of experience in equities research, across both global and Australian markets. Scott spent 9 years at CLSA before joining MST in 2019 initially as a basic materials analyst (2010-2016), but more recently as Head of the Small Cap equity research team (2016-2019). Prior to that Scott was an analyst at Citibank in Sydney and Morgan Stanley in London, where he covered a range of basic materials stocks. During his time at CLSA Scott achieved multiple number one rankings in the annual Asiamoney Brokers poll across both Industrial (2014 & 2015) and Small Cap sectors (2017 & 2018). Scott is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Accounting from Rhodes University in South Africa.

Lafitani Sotiriou

Diversified Financials & Technology

Lafitani is a Diversified Financial, Fintech, and Emerging Growth analyst. He began his analyst career at Southern Cross Equities but went on to work at Bell Potter for over a decade. Prior to this, Lafitani held a variety of roles at JPMorgan, Perpetual and CBA. Lafitani holds a Masters in Commerce (UNSW) majoring in Business Strategy, with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance at FINSIA, and is a Graduate of the AICD Director's Course.

Dan Hurren

Healthcare Analyst

Dan joined MST Marquee in 2021 to partner with senior healthcare analyst Andrew Goodsall. Dan and Andrew were the #1 ranked healthcare research team from 2004 to 2014 at Citi and UBS. Dan moved to Singapore in 2014 where he was head of the UBS Australian Sales Desk for six years. Before his equities career, Dan spent 15 years as an Australian Regular Army Officer serving in Australia and offshore. Dan has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales and a Masters of International Studies from Sydney University. Dan Hurren is a representative of Health Finance Group Pty Ltd, who is an authorised representative of MST Financial.

Matthew Frydman

Metals & Mining

Matthew is a Metals and Mining analyst. He has been covering the sector since 2016, firstly at Deutsche Bank and more recently Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, Matthew spent nearly a decade in the mining industry as a Mining Engineer working in a variety of roles for global mining majors Rio Tinto and Glencore. Matthew holds an MBA from the AGSM (UNSW), and a Bachelor of Mining Engineering.
